Short-form script workflow

AI short video scripts that connect the voiceover to the shot list

A useful short-form script answers one specific question, sounds natural aloud and gives the viewer a payoff. DramaForge turns your material into hooks, a complete voiceover, timed visuals and post copy. Edit the draft yourself or request a focused AI revision before preparing video prompts.

Start with a clear brief, not a request to go viral

Provide material you have permission to use, identify the audience and choose an angle. “Help first-time renters plan their fridge clear-out before moving” is more actionable than “make a viral lifestyle video.” A URL without an excerpt is not verified source content.

  • Source: facts or a story
  • Audience: who has this problem
  • Angle: what the viewer takes away
  • Duration: 30, 60, 90 or 120 seconds

Keep the narration and visuals synchronized

Read the script aloud, then check each shot. The visuals should support the same point as the narration and the timeline should cover the complete draft. Allow pauses and longer speaking shots instead of cutting sentences merely to increase editing speed.

Revise without losing the original

Manual editing is free. AI revision can target the whole draft, voiceover, shot list or post copy; review the candidate before applying it. Writing and AI revisions use credits based on actual tokens. Topic discovery is included with an active subscription; using your own material does not require a subscription.

Input Material

Original example: A renter checks the fridge the day before moving. Angle: make a list before deciding what to transport; no food-safety guarantees.

Structure Output

Hook: The fridge is easy to forget on moving day.
Action: Photograph each compartment and list what needs a decision.
Payoff: Fewer last-minute choices.

Prompt / Script Sample

Voiceover excerpt: The easiest thing to forget on moving day might be your fridge. Before the van arrives, photograph the chilled and frozen compartments. List what you need to deal with and what you hope to take. Then decide based on your transport arrangements.
Visuals: Fridge-opening medium shot → phone close-up → hands writing a list.
